There are 2 ways for patients to enroll in ViiV Healthcare Patient Assistance Program:

Who does the enrolling?
  • Either the patient or the Advocate
  • Advocate only
When to choose this type of enrollment
  • For Medicare Part D patients
  • For patients who can wait to get their medicine through the mail
  • For patients who want to self-enroll (ie, patients who want to enroll on their own without the aid of an Advocate)

 

  • For patients who need medicine that same day but who are not enrolled in a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan

By Mail or Fax—For Patients Who Want to Self-Enroll
Patients may enroll in ViiV Healthcare PAP on their own by completing an application and submitting it by mail or fax.

By an Advocate—When Medicine Is Needed Immediately
Non Medicare Part D patients who need medicine that same day should ask their Advocate (ie, anyone involved in the delivery of the patient's healthcare and is not a family member or friend) to enroll them in ViiV Healthcare PAP by phone. Patients enrolled in a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan must first apply via mail or fax and be found eligible before medicine can be shipped. Learn More
